Worship Thoughts
Nothing Regal seeks to provide relevant,
inspirational and sensory musical worship experiences that enable people to
genuinely connect with God and honor Him by living our their faith in a real-world setting.
In
order to do that, we seek to understand
what the Bible tries to teach us about the true nature of worship.
These are a few of the devotional thoughts we've shared as a band
to help us keep looking in that direction as our focus.
There are
also several good books that focus on the life of faith and on worship,
but not just from a musical perspective, rather from a
life-encompassing point of view instead that is perhaps a better
definition of worship anyway. Some are conversational, some are more
high-brow, and some require a lot more thought than even that. Be
forewarned -- ideas can be contagious and more than a little dangerous
once they get a hold of you.

We've sinned and
kept at it so long!
Is there any hope for us?
Can we be saved?
We're all sin-infected,
sin-contaminated.
Our best efforts are
grease-stained rags.
-- Isaiah 64:6,
The Message

Going through the
motions doesn't please you,
a flawless performance
is nothing to you.
I learned God-worship
when my pride was shattered.
Heart-shattered lives ready
for love don't for a
moment escape God's notice.
-- Psalm 51:16-17,
The Message

I can't wait to hear what
he'll say. God's about to
pronounce his people well,
the holy people he loves
so much, so they'll never
again live like fools.
-- Psalm 85:8,
