JP Dupras
When I think of Fishnet Angel, it's hard to imagine
anyone other than JP drawing
her (er, him). JP really captured the look
I was hoping for and knocked it (as the
cliche goes) right out of the
park. He still does. |

Gino DeCicco
Gino was the first artist to draw Fishnet Angel. He's a
former staff artist for iHero
Entertainment, and although his style for Ashtanyaka is more revealing than I'd
hoped, he still got the poor
heroine off to a solid start. |

Jason Walker
Frank Fradella and I hooked up with Jason at
Dragon Con in Atlanta several years ago, and
saw him drawing
some very nice sketches, particularly of female characters. So
it
was only natural that we approach him about doing one of
Fishnet Angel too. |

Mariano De La Torre
Mariano is one of the artists who contributed to
Shooting Star Comics Anthology #1.
I'm not sure I'm found of the revealing
look at Fishnet Angel's cheeks, but you can't
deny that Mariano has the
goods.

Steve Leiber
Steve was our cover artist for the first issue of the
Shooting Star Comics Anthology,
and I love the job he did on Ashtanyaka. I think you'll agree. |

John Paul Leon
John Paul Leon was my first and
only choice for my first comic book cover. I loved his stuff
way back in the day when he worked on various Milestone books,
and thankfully,
Dwayne McDuffie was able to hook me up with
him for the Jane Doe #1 cover.

Scott McCullar
Scott's a good friend and great
artist, and I was more than honored to have him contribute
to
Jane Doe #2, both on the cover and with the pin-up that
accompanied the bonus
prose story inside the issue.

Erik Burnham
Erik's the creative genius --
or is that wacked-out slacker? -- behind Nick Landime. I've
worked with him for several concepts and a story or two as
well, and I was thrilled
when he surprised me with his
rendition of the fishnetted wonder. |

Todd Fox
Todd's another of my Shooting
Star cronies and the artistic hand behind all
those pretty
pictures of Aym Geronimo and The Terribles. I
loved his stuff and his stark style, and
didn't mind begging for him to do a little
something special for me and Fishnet Angel. |

Jeff Moy
I've been a big fan of Jeff's
artwork since I first discovered it gracing the
pages of
Legionnaires and Malibu's Star Trek books.
Needless to say, I was eager to book
him to do a cover for us on the Shooting Star
Comics Anthology, and even more
excited when it turned out to be an issue with
Fishnet Angel on the cover. |
